Elestial Quartz

You have probably heard something like “how can we bring something new in, unless we are willing to let something old out?” Good advice? Likely. Annoying? A little. And what about those lifelong patterns? Or the unhealthy issues that we seem to be just born with? Not an easy task. But probably worth some effort. But why is it so difficult? One answer could be it’s karmic. And one of the best stone allies to help with this is the Elestial Quartz.

Elestial Quartz is a personal favorite of mine. That in part is due to the energetics, but, I must admit, it has more to do with the crystals’ personality. Elestials are a no nonsense stone, and watch out for its bite! Elestial Quartz can play rough. They can be a little edgy at first, even a little unpredictable. But with time, and trust, one can form a mutual bond with an Elestial. A good working and even healthy relationship.

Elestials are found in other locations, but there is a place called Minas Gratis Brazil where they crop up in family groups, and even closely resemble each other. These brothers and sisters carry that energy, time and wisdom from their ancestors before them, and willingly share it with us.

Elestials are multi-layered or etched quartz crystal with many small terminated crystal formations all over it. Smoky Quartz tend to be the most abundant, but there are also Clear Elestial Quartz, Fenster Quartz, Elestial Rose Quartz and Amethyst Elestials. Each carries a slightly separate property energetically. I would encourage you all, if possible, to explore this further and on your own.

Of special interest for us at Celestial Awakenings is the new arrival of Fenster Quartz. These guys are little dynamos and carry quite the energy kick. The word “Fenster” gives us a clue here. It’s German for window. And these clear beauties have a lot of them.

The windows are caused by either water inclusions, or other unstable conditions during formation. Fensters bounce a lot of light and often rainbow. In my opinion, Fensters carry a slightly higher vibration than their other Elestial cousins.

I was introduced to the more common Smokey Elestials years ago. It was love at first sight. Today, I own a lot of them.

Elestials, also known as Skeleton Quartz, have deep healing ability. This is due to the fact that they are created in an area rich in water. Some even contain tiny pockets of water. These are called in enhydros, and they are very sought after.

Overall, Elestial energy has a strong connection to the emotional body. They can heal the deep pathways to patterns and karmic enmeshments. Going to the bare bones of just about any issue. That can, admittedly, be a little tough at first. But over time, I really learned to trust them. It has paid off in many ways.

So, think of the universe as sort of a giant spider’s web. Multilayered, multidimensional. Spread across countless time and space. Now imagine each time one of those strands is plucked or disturbed in any way, that energy would send a vibration all the way through the web. Sounds complex, right? Pretty mind blowing too.

But that’s what an Elestial does. It has a knowledge so ancient, so pure, and so wise, that it tracks each individual energetic pluck; clearing confusion and clutter from past lives, current lives, and even into the future. That can be big! I mean think about it? Wow!

Let’s be clear here. One should be careful when using Elestials to remove karmic cords, as this can have, dramatic effects.

And be warned. Elestials are like the big dog. Sometimes they just don’t how to quit playing. This can lead to healing outside of our comfort zone. I have even experienced their energy days and even weeks after initial connection. Physicality means little to nothing for these timeless warriors. They can reach out for miles.

I recommend a good cord cutting technique after using the elestial quartz. It gives them permission to stop working. I also recommend covering them with red cloth when not in use. Red stops energy from flowing.

Elestial Quartz comes in many shapes and sizes and pairs particularly well with high vibrational stones. But they are so friendly with other stones. Try Fire and Ice, Scolesite or Kunzite for incredible spiritual connection.

Here’s an exercise to try yourself:

While sitting or preferably standing, place the Elestial in the heart chakra region. Clear your mind and thoughts and with internal dialogue ask the Elestial to clear unwanted karma. You may feel a strong pulsing sensation in both the stone and in your hand. Then ask and feel exactly in which area of the body do you want to clear.

Let the elestial work. Give it time to pull the cords. It may feel weird and you may experience temperature shifts. This may take several minutes. But let it work.

When you feel that you have finished, release the Elestial by slipping your flat free hand down between the stone and your body. Push the elestial away and set it on a table in front of you. You can cleanse it later with either cold running water or sage. But first, stare into a mirror and refill the energy removed by stating something like “I love me. I am good enough. I deserve. I belong” several times over and over again. You can of course use your own words or intentions here. But it is important to replace an old energy with a new one.

Sleeping within Elestial helps solve long-term problems and issues by finding solutions deeply buried within the auric field and the emotional body. It does so through our dreams. Adding a dream recall stone such as blue chert or iolite makes this task easier for those who struggle to remember their dreams. If you struggle to sleep, I suggest Grey Banded Agate and Chrysoprase first and until the conditions improve.

Elestial Quartz is a great clearing stone for any unwanted debris in the aura. I often feel refreshed after just sitting with one of mine. Some find it grounding. Others feel uplifted. Most would agree, however, that this is one powerful stone ally.

Don’t take my word for it, try it yourself. Elestial personality is individual, and our interactions are unique to each encounter.
