Danburite

An introduction to Danburite is like a firm warm handshake. Stable, re-assuring, strong. The smile of inner peace a few minutes later ads trust and thoughts of a long friendship.

Danburite, named after its discovery spot in Danbury CT, is a Calcium Borosilicate(CaB2Si2O8). Its crystal structure is Orthorhombic. This gives it a communication energy, while its color,( clear, pink, or gold) keeps that communication in the angelic realms. It comes in right around Quartz at 7 to 7.5 on the Mohs scale making it vibrationally pretty quick.

Its crystal symmetry (rhombic) is similar to topaz. But Topaz is much harder and quicker to fire a more intense energy. Pairing the two gives you a great ride on the astral plane and brings on lucid dreams, especially with the white or imperial topaz varieties.

But Danburite is versatile. Due to its higher content of oxygen molecules, it can also bring us into a deep state of inner-peace. Great for stress relief, Danburite calms the mind and is helpful in alleviating disrupted sleep patterns. Using it alongside emerald soothes the heart. In those instances, Danburite brings a strong self-love energetic, helping us to a deep knowing that all will eventually right itself.

Now also found in Mexico, as well as Japan, Burma, Russia and Madagascar, Danburite has a strong cleansing and detoxifying action, as it works through the liver to remove unwanted toxins. The liver stores anger as well as other fear-based emotions.

Danburite, when placed with or near children, calms fear and helps with anger issues. So stand up, reach out and grasp one of the powerhouses of the crystal kingdom. You’ll be glad you did.
